Use these readings to formulate your arguments about performance-enhancing drug (PED) use from business and political perspectives.

If you have been assigned to the PRO debate group, work with your group to develop a case in favor of permitting athletes to use PEDs, and, in your initial post, address the following:

• Identify reasons why it is acceptable for athletes to use PEDs. Discuss why these reasons should supersede policies set by agencies and governments.
• What are the business implications of athlete PED use? Consider business areas of fan retention, ticket sales, and sponsorship deals.
