2. Health care consumerism has become a movement to make the delivery of health care services more efficient and cost effective. Consumerism advocates patients to participate and become more involved in their own health care decisions. I think allowing patients to take part in the decision-making of their treatment plan will motivate them to do better when it comes to their illness or disease.
