• 1st paragraph – Compare and Contrast Thomas’ and Dickinson’s attitudes about death and dying? How does each feel about the ideas of death, dying and afterlife? 
• 2nd paragraph – Take a position and defend it. Who is braver in the face of death, Dickinson or Thomas? Support your position using specific examples from the poems (you should quote or paraphrase specific lines). You should respond using complete sentences and proper college writing standards. Your answer should be at least one paragraph in length.
