Objective 2: Read and analyze various policies and procedures which will help identify problems and develop an action plan.

Advocacy involves having a vision, mission, objectives, strategies, and action plans. It often takes a planning group comprised of community members who have a stake in helping those who have needs to be effective. Advocacy needs careful planning because there are serious imbalances in how communities function, and often, only through a controlled, multi-faceted effort, can the voices of those in need be heard and their problems addressed.
