This is your first collaborative group assignment (due week 3). Your will assign to create a parent workshop on one of the following topics: early childhood development, middle childhood development, or adolescent development. You will create a 15 – 20 minutes PowerPoint presentation synthesizing the relevent information from your texbook, lectures, and course resources into parent-friendly language. Be sure to include an overview of physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development, and the factors that affect each (i.e. biological, environmental, social, cultural). Include strategies for parents to facilitate development in each area. The grading rubric for this assignment is attached.
