This assignment requires some outside research. After students have gotten to know their host and together with the host the students have decided on a challenge, need, or interest to address, students will compile a list of at least 4 resources to support the host in addressing the specific challenge, need, or interest. If in a group, you may compile a list of 7 – 9 resources, or can decide to help with two separate challenges, needs, or interests for the Host. The purpose of this assignment is to provide the host with specific, relevant resources that may support the host in addressing the identified need, challenge or interest. Students must present the resource list to their host by Week 5.

Resource list must include:

• Include a brief description at the top of what need, problem, or interest you are addressing
• At least one website, at least one organization/group (e.g., a peer socialization group to support children that need to develop social skills), at least one book (e.g., children’s book or journal article), and at least one community space (e.g., museum, park). For groups should be at least two of each (i.e. two books).
• Define and describe each resource
  • What is the purpose of this resource?
  • Why would this resource be effective to address the specific challenge, need or interest?
