In general, write a 4-6 page literature review paper on a social psychology topic. Your paper should answer some question or related questions you are interested in that can be answered in the social psychology literature. Students must use a minimum of 3 peer-reviewed journal articles found in the PsycARTICLES and/or Psychology & Behavioral Sciences databases to write the paper. At least one of the journal articles must be empirical (e.g, a report of original research) and should be described – see handout. You may want to use additional sources to provide more information, background, definitions or statistics. All sources used should be credible (e.g., textbooks, encyclopedia, credible websites, academic books, or peer-reviewed articles from additional databases). Your paper should be written in APA style 7th Edition (especially the margins, font, page header, title page, in-text citations, and references). No abstract is required for this paper.

Begin the paper with an introduction with question(s) you hope to answer in your paper.

Then write a body of the paper that presents the relevant information/evidence on your topic from each of your sources, including at least one empirical study.

Close with a summary of the literature and a conclusion that attempts to answer your questions.

As you write, cite references in your paper using APA Style. All ideas or information that did not originate from you or that are not commonly-known facts should have a citation. All your citations must appear in your reference list and all your references must be cited in your paper.
