research a case that address an issue discussed in class such as abuse of power, abuse of authority or corruption matter within a criminal justice organization (law enforcement, corrections, courts system) such as Corruption cases in New Orleans, NYPD, Chicago police Department, Los Angles PD, FBI, Ferguson police department, Baltimore Police Department.

Students will provide a summary of the case facts, what occurred, when it occurred, who was involved how the issue relates to criminal justice ethics.

Students may also research an individual within the criminal justice system who became a whistleblower. Student must discuss with the professor and obtain approval on paper topic
