Many state and local bar associations consider ethics questions quite often. Skim a few committee reports at the New York City Bar website:

Make sure you are looking at Formal Ethics Opinions. Also make sure that you select a topic that is relevant to and impacts work in the law office setting as it relates to state legislation or other general legal topics, not just a legal issue that is interesting. Pick one relevant ethics opinion and answer the following questions:

1. What was the ethical issue addressed? Be sure to give the title of the committee report that you chose to review.
2. How was this issue resolved?
3. Do you agree with this resolution? Why or why not?
