Help me study for my Statistics class. I’m stuck and don’t understand.

For your first reflection assignment you will work with your group (defined as Reflection Group I) to discuss some of the aspects of the process of statistics. To do so you will do the following:

1. Formulate a research question/problem or a hypothesis – This can be any issue that is of interest to you (for example: The average starting salary of a business major from the USA in 2020 was higher than that of history majors in 2020). The problem should be the result of a discussion and consensus amongst group members.

2. Identify the process that will be involved in the collection of the data. Do this to the best of your ability.

3. Identify the population, sample, the variable and determine if the variable is quantitative or qualitative.
