Analyze an actual frame, truss, or simple machine (pliers, vise grip, metal cutters) that has at least three
components. Photograph the object and create a simplified model (can be 2-D or 3-D as appropriate) of
the object. The model must include the actual dimensions and approximate forces.
Draw appropriate Free Body Diagrams of each member of the object and determine all reactions and
internal forces due to the applied load.
