I’m trying to learn for my Writing class and I’m stuck. Can you help?

1. Instructions for completing a project(minimum of one page in length)

The project can be building something or making something (a recipe, knitting a scarf, cooking a meal, building a dog house, etc. or anything else you want to teach someone. Do not give me directions for “how to complete a project,” it must be something real). Keep all steps in order. Write clearly and concisely so that someone who has never accomplished this task will be successful. Criteria: clearly addresses audience and purpose and use of appropriate tone. This assignment is in MLA format (pg. 37 in the reader). Do not use bullet points or numbers. Use complete sentences and transitions. Electronic submission required in Microsoft Word (doc or .docx) or PDF. Other formats- Google Docs, Pages, Works, etc. are not accepted. No emailed copy.
