For this assignment each student will research the theory of Legal Cynicism and discuss its relevance in our society today.  Ideally, your research and discussion should focus on actual occurrences that might help explain how it (legal cynicism) emerges in various communities.  As you go about writing this paper it might be helpful to explore the dichotomy of race and class…..explaining how each might play a role in legal cynicism and how it relates to our lectures/discussions.    

Lastly, in concluding this assignment, provide your opinion on whether or not legal cynicism is a good or a bad thing for society.
