George Washington University Active Minds Case Study

Answer the question:” include one key message and at least two supporting facts (based on research) for each key public. The facts should be cited”

●The first public includes college students who may not be entirely aware of the resources offered by their university as well as the different advocacy groups and organizations with an on-campus presence. Many are first-years and are eager to be involved in a variety of advocacy activities, but don’t know how to get started.

●The second public includes former college students, typically but not exclusively between the ages of 25-35 whose discourse and perception of mental health skews slightly from those of the average liberal arts university student. They care about a variety of social issues but are typically not involved with any organizations.

●The third public is current Active Minds members at universities. They actively and regularly participate with local Active Minds chapters and are familiar with the inner workings of their organization. .
