Activity 7: Good vs Bad Speech

After watching the two speeches on YouTube (the links are below) you will type up a brief summary evaluating each speaker based on the Pros and Cons of their speeches. Each of your responses can be brief bullet-points. You do not need to type an essay. To complete this activity you will click the “Reply” button, then type your answers and hit “Submit”. You will have until Sunday at 11:59pm to submit your reply. After that the discussion will close and you will be unable to submit your replies.

To help guide you in your evaluation of each speaker you will answer the following questions:

1. For Speaker 1 (Randy Pausch) what do you feel he did well at? Focus on things like eye contact, gestures, vocal variety, visual aids, movement, charisma, etc.
