Select one of the following disorders explored in ch. 11 of your textbook:

• fetishistic disorder
• transvestic disorder
• exhibitionistic disorder
• voyeuristic disorder
• pedophilic disorder
• sexual masochism disorder
• sexual sadism disorder
• gender dysphoria

After selecting a disorder you will need to:

1. Provide the textbook definition of the disorder (this should be a direct quotation and will required the appropriate citation!)
2. Summarize 3 main diagnostic criteria or considerations of the disorder, as discussed in the chapter. What are three main things to look for in evaluating for this disorder in an individual?
3. Find a case study of an individual who you believe meets the criteria for the disorder. Provide a summary of the case and a citation for your source information (this could be a video, newspaper article, magazine story, etc.) Make sure that you discuss how the 3 diagnostic criteria/considerations you noted in #2 above are met in the case you select.
4. Do you think this disorder should be considered a disorder? Why or why not?
