AMU W2 Carrie Chapman Catts Address to The Congress on Womens Suffrage Essay
Choose one of the readings we discussed in the Week 2 forum. Ideally, you’ll choose to analyze the piece you discussed in the Week 2 Forum, but that’s not a requirement if you’d prefer a different reading from the list.
Decide whether the reading offers a persuasive and convincing argument. If you decide it is persuasive and convincing, discuss why. You may use the structure of the argument, the tone, the use of rhetorical appeals, and any other argumentation strategy as proof of the argument’s success.
This Is What I Wrote:
I chose I have a dream by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The thesis for the speech is that We cannot walk alone because for us to end racisms we as a human have to come as one and walk together.
The reading’s structure is organized and logical because it is very easy to read and understand and it is also very well quoted.
I really like this writing style because it is simple and it is very easy to understand and it gets to the point.
The author hook reader attention by saying ”I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.” it want the reader to know more about the greatest speech in the history.
This speech is still being talked about and teach in every public school in America.
what idea came to your mind when he said we cannot walk alone from 1963 in 2021
