Student’s response: Conducting graduate-level research is completely different than our undergraduate program, when researching in an undergrad program, we typically don’t have much interest in the subject itself but we still do the work and get over it. For example, in one of my undergrad class we had to do research on police work, I didn’t care for it too much and we didn’t have to go in-depth with our research, all we did was grab basic information and that was it as well as putting the paper in any formate we wanted for example MLA format. But, at a graduate level, we are researching more intensively based on what we will be working in toward our future careers. Based on the program and area of interest we choose, we have the advantage to study more in-depth that will incorporate into our future jobs. In a graduate program, research will help us critically and logically think more than in an undergraduate program, we typically have more tools to use and much more advantage to do our research.
