1. Addiction

Addiction is an illness that not only affects individuals but their families as well.  As future nurses, learning how to provide education and guidance for family members, as well as the client, will be necessary.  Additionally, nurses must also utilize self-awareness to prevent biases and deliver nonjudgmental care.  Please watch the following video and answer the following questions.  (Remember to answer all three questions in your response).

1.  Do you agree with the speaker’s assertion that family members may not be the appropriate person to help people with addiction? If so why?

1. 12 step programs are often the long-term treatment choice of many individuals with addiction.  However, many people find the religious aspect of the program to be unappealing and a hindrance. Do you agree with the speaker’s belief that acknowledging a “higher power” or a belief in “spirituality” is necessary for people to overcome addiction? If so, how would you communicate this to the client and their family?

1. Do you think it will be frustrating to provide treatment for individuals with addiction because they will most likely relapse? If so why?

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a U.S. government agency within the Department of Health and Human Services. Its primary role is to protect public health, by ensuring safety and effectiveness of drugs, vaccines, medical devices and food products. There are rigorous steps that may take years, and all these steps must be completed before a drug can be approved. The FDA has made some lifesaving investigational drug therapies available sooner than usual by offering an expedited drug approval process, known as “Fast Track”.

When communicating, we constantly make decisions regarding what information to include and what information to exclude from our messages. Communication decisions have legal and ethical dimensions. Business communicators must consider the impact of their messages to ensure that receivers are not deceived.
In this assignment, students will write about news or articles that focus on the subject of business ethics in communication. Students will demonstrate and reflect the impact and importance of ethics in communication. This assignment is worth 150 points and due by the end of Module 5.
Students are required to write 6 pages of content, then include a cover page, table of contents, and reference page. The paper must follow APA format and include appropriate headings and sub-headings and at least five scholarly citations (e.g., peer-reviewed articles, textbook, etc.). The profit contribution of each dark chocolate bar is $2 and salted caramel chocolate bar is $5. The Manufacture has capacity of 100,000 working days per month and ingredients budget of $10,000 per month. Using linear programming modelling for ABC company problem, answer the following questions.
a) Identify decision, constraint and result variables, and objective function.
