Psychology homework help. Each student is responsible for submitting a typewritten 8-12 page assignment on canvas.
You will use your textbook for concepts to explain your understanding of the interviews you held. You may use an outside source, but it is not necessary. Within your paper, you will need to use APA in-text citation for any direct quotes and paraphrasing.
 
ALL Papers will be submitted to Turnitin on Canvas.
 
To give you an idea of how the points will be distributed for the paper see the rubric provided with each of the paper options.
 
Interview Questions:

  • You will design between 15-20 questions to use in your interviews.
  • I recommend you choose questions based on concepts you will want to write about.
  • An example: if you are choosing Option B you might want to ask 2 siblings about how each of them individually view what type of parenting styles they use. Question: Please tell me how you viewed the way your parents treated you when you were little and growing up.
  • Depending how they answer you might use terms like authoritarian, permissive, authoritative, and uninvolved.

 
Format:

  • 1” margin, 12 pt. TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT, Double Space
  • APA format!!! Use Purdue OWL.
  • Paper is free of errors – typographical, spelling, English grammar, word usage.
  • Paper shows evidence of understanding the topic.
  • Paper shows evidence of understanding how the articles support your discussion of the topic.
  • Writing is in YOUR OWN WORDS.
  • You will italicize and bold all class concepts you use. You must show an understanding of those concepts.

 
Content:

  • Proper use of concepts from class.
  • Explain any outside facts if you choose to use them to support your statements.
  • Include at end personal opinion.
  • Make your presentation interesting.
  • Proper use of references, if appropriate.
  • Paper shows evidence of critical thinking.
  • Must include consent forms in appendix after references
  • Must include list of interview questions asked in the appendix

 
***Not included in the 8-12 page requirement will be a title page with your topic and name, a reference page, your list of interview questions, and your signed consent forms. You will NOT have an abstract.
