If you worked for the World Health Organization, what steps would you take to improve the environmental health in the United States including air, water, and food? Why would your steps be better than the current policies in effect?

ANSWER THE ABOVE QUESTION AND THEN REPLY TO MY CLASSMATE’S RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE QUESTION AND EXPLAIN WHY YOU AGREE? (A MINIMUM OF 150 WORDS EACH)

CLASSMATE’S POST

The first step that I would take is that I would put federal regulations on all environmental health policies for all industries that have a direct impact on our environment. Factory and plants would be required to have air filters on all their smokestacks. They will not be allowed to pollute our water or air supplies. These companies would be forced to find alternative ways to dispose of their waste. They will be inspected every six months and given 60 days to fix any violations. After 60 days they will receive fines for non-compliance and given another 30 days to comply. If after 30 they fail to comply. Then they will be shut down until they are up to compliance.

Any food plants or factories will be inspected every 30 days. They must be in compliances with all FDA regulations. Any violations will be dealt with heavy fines and shutdowns. They get thirty days after each violation. No repeat violation will be allowed. All workers must be registered and documented. All workers need to up to date on all FDA policies.

My steps are way better because, they are much stricter and do not allow for noncompliance.
