One important thing to note is that the Alexa needs to be paired with an Echo device to be able to use this feature. The technology by the use of which Alexa can be activated through voice command is NLP (natural language processing) (Sharda et al., 2019). Although it is a very convenient and useful skill, Alexa users have asked for additional features for the skill and based on the response from the developers, it seems that more and more features are bound to be added with every upcoming update.
