Need help with my Music question – I’m studying for my class.

For this assignment you will listen to the Allegro movement of Piano Sonata No. 1 written by Beethoven, performed by pianist Stephen Kovacevich. Then follow the directions below:

2. write down as you listen all of the dynamic changes that you hear using the Italian terms and including the time at which the changes occur. (Example; 0:20 forte 0:28 mezzo piano, :35 crescendo to fortissimo, etc.) Don’t use those, I just made them up!
3. this assignment will take many listens and stopping and starting of the piece to follow all of the dynamics
4. list a minimum of 15 dynamic markings/changes that you hear
5. lastly, write at least 50 words about the emotional impact of Beethoven’s use of dynamics in this piece. (do these changes create excitement, fatigue, joy, sorrow, tension? etc.)
