1. To EVERY class – please provide power point that addresses the subject.

2. You wrote great subjects to each week (module) but I felt that there is nothing only articles. First, maybe that subject needs to be changed? Is it too heavy? Is it something they can read the article, see the power points and reflect??

You added articles to each class. First, ONLY one good article or an easy chapter from a nook. Please find easier articles. This is a BA class and some of the articles are really hard for follow. Especially the ones which are research. Do not demand more than 20 pages, some of the readings were way too much.

3. For every reading – match a power point + video and then compose a QUESTION that has to relate to the subject. Don’t just ask them what they learned. How do we know they really read the materials?

4. Week 1: ask the students to find one thing they would like to get rid of. Preferably addiction like- coffee, sugar or any others. We will experiment trying to let go of this addiction in 8 weeks. If they don’t have addition like this, it can be a habit (like biting teeth, yelling on others while driving, surfing on social media for hours before bed time, eating late at night, being late to meeting…). Then they will have to reflect every week on their process and relate it to the 12-steps of that week.

Week 5- Go to 12-step meeting and reflect

Week 7- steps 9+10

Week 9 – start the case study for final, because they need to interview the person in their case study.
Week 9 work on your final + power point

Every week reading materials up to week 8. So only 8 readings.

5. Week 6 – there are no guest speakers. It is an online class.

In week 3 we can ask them to go to a 12-step group of their choice in their area (please give all 12-steps group choices, it can be also found on zoom) and write a reflection about their experience: prepare them some leading questions. Ask them to now share names of speakers and keep anonymity. They will have to submit it in week 5.

6. No group activity – this is an online class only (not even zoom)

7. the power point students need to provide shall me recorded. Then each one needs to respond to at least 2 colleagues.

8. Every discussion: respond to one peer and respond back to anyone who responded to you.

9. Final Paper is not good. I asked for a Case Study. Attached is an example from another course about reflection paper and then a case study. Use it as a guide.

Reflection paper should be after they participated in a 12-step meeting and reflected about it on week 6.

Case study should be about someone who was addicted and recovered – please add questions they will ask the person in the case study.
