School counselors play a key role in the development and needs of all students. Collaboration with other educators and support staff is critical to the role of the school counselor. In order for school counselors to be successful, all stakeholders need to be a team within the school environment.

Review the “Case Studies” in preparation for this assignment.

Based on each case study, describe in detail how you, as a school counselor and a member of a cross-disciplinary team of educators and support staff, would contribute to the team’s effort to encourage involvement by staff, students, family members, and community agencies.

Select three case studies and respond as appropriate to the following questions in 250-500 words per case study:
