Evaluate how the leader of your organization defines “evidence”

    Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is a way of providing factual evidence built on the means of connecting individual clinical knowledge along with obtainable outside evidence from methodical research (“Evidence-based practice in health,” 2021). (EBP) has created and implemented study evidence, medical knowledge, patients’ values, circumstances, and qualities which helps with laboratory data and intellectual thinking (“Evidence-based practice in health,” 2021). (EBP) is very important to have especially when individuals are looking for information on a specific topic or treatment outcome. In addition, the goal of (EBP) is to provide effective care and increase healthier outcomes for patients. However, the leader of my organization defines “evidence” by providing factual evidence but through Principles of Integrity. This evidence embodies carrying a high standard of ethical behavior through interactions with employees, patients, customers, and the global community, and decision-making (“Principles of integrity & business conduct,” 2021). Also, additional evidence entails disclosing results, being transparent in all publication and policy guidelines, and providing evidence-based and standard treatments that help with universal improvement in patients.

Definition of evidence and its involvement in public health practice.

    I too believe that being transparent and having integrity, and high standards of ethical practices are a great way to provide evidence of a reputable organization while building trust inside and outside of the company. When I think of evidence and involvement in public health, I think of transparency, surveillance, and the dissemination of actual information through all media platforms using scientific data and analysis. Public health evidence focuses on cultivating logical standards to provide factual evidence (Vanagas et al., 2017). In addition, evidence-public health practice joins several research practices to connect ideas that will promote healthy outcomes for populations. Moreover, the inclusion of decision-making, communities, employees, data collection, and research approaches are components that make the involvement of (EBPH) very beneficial.
