Assignment 1 – 10%
 
Due Date: Week 6
 
Submission:     Submit on Moodle by the end of the tutorial: all files must be uploaded on Moodle as a zipped File.
Presentation:  During Week 6 lab OR submit a word document with explanations and screen shots. You should be able to explain both the design and code for the site.
WEBSITE:
Create an online store with some specialty products following below guidelines:
It must be created using Visual Studio

  • All Pages
    • must have a Menu at top using CSS to link to all other pages,
    • A footer section
  • Main Page
    • should include some introductory information
  • About Us
    • Must explain the purpose of the website and the explanation of the layout
  • Products
    • At least 3 categories, with 5 products in each category using tables for layout
    • A side bar on the left to show categories
  • Contact
    • Use some Text inputs and labels, map image, the submit button should take to a thank you page
  • Reference Page
    • To list references for any pages that you used the images from including links in a bulleted list

The website should use HTML and CSS and only few ASP controls for the Contact Us page:
Layout Must use:
Tables, Images/graphics, Menu (using CSS), several fonts, different headings, Colors etc
Make sure to use proper Spelling and Grammar.
