Carteia B. Twerking, a resident of Miami, Florida, decided to attend the Something In The Water (SITW) concert on April 21, 2020 at the Virginia Wireless Concert Hall in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Ms. Twerking was enjoyed drinking two beers while she listened to the opening acts Chris Brown, Roddy Rich and Lizzo. Before Beyonce came out to perform they set up the Beyonce Walk, a walkway where people twerk and show their modeling skills. Beyonce, a resident of Spring, Texas carry’s awalkway with her wherever she performs. Feeling excited to see Beyonce in person Carteia decided to enter the walkway. Carteiaenjoyed the walkway until Beyonce encouraged the crowd to get “LIT.” Soon thereafter, the crowd started twerking violently causing Carteia to fall and break her ankle. Furthermore, she was not noticed immediately and was kicked in the face by otherparticipants as he laid on the ground.
Once she was noticed she was immediately taken to the hospital by Virginia Beach Fire and Rescue. She was taken to Virginia Beach General hospital where she was seen by Dr. April Taylor who diagnosed with a broken ankle, a broken nose, lacerations to face, and whiplash. She followed up with her primary care physician Dr. Ossie Purvis for 12 weeks. She was given Acetaminophen 500mg and Flexeril for pain. She had to see Dr. Melodie M. Doughty to have plastic surgery on the permanent lacerations to her face. Finally, she saw Zelma at Lynch Physical Therapy for 12 weeks.
Carteia has now come to the Law Offices of Barry Doughty Jr., located at 915 Delores Way in Zyon, Virginia and 2705 Stephanie Boulevard West Palm Beach, Florida. She desires to sue Beyonce for negligence, recklessness, Negligence Per Seand any other additional legal claims that may apply to this case. Ms. Twerking is a resident of North Carolina, he has $200,000 in medical bills and damages, and wants to seek compensation against Beyonce for damages. Her medical bills total $126,357.25 from the medical professionals she was seen by and medications (you can allocate any amount you desire to each of the medical expenses). The remainder of her losses were from lost wages and expenses
