Part B

• What effects may this extended period of social distancing have on people’s ability to socialize? That is, will it impair social connection after the restrictions are lifted?
• What would Durkheim be concerned about during this time? Why?
• What measures can be taken to reduce the social and psychological impact of mandated social isolation?
