Steve Emerson is believed to be one of the prominent authorities concerning Islamic extremist networks. Emerson and his team frequently deliver data to the U.S. government, law enforcement bureaus, congressional agencies, and to Congress. He has “reported on the extensive terrorist networks in 11 American cities. He presented unequivocal evidence that infiltration of radical Islamism into our Society was an ongoing reality as early as 1992” (Peake, 2007). In his 2002 book, Emerson examines al Qaida in the United States, other terrorist networks operating from within the United States such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the funding and support these networks operate like charities, foundations and Internet sources.

Brian Jenkins is a senior consultant to the president of the Rand corporation. After being assigned to the infantry, he became a paratrooper and a Captain in the Green Berets. “He is a decorated combat veteran having served in the Seventh Special forces Group in the Dominican Republic and with the Fifth Special Forces in Vietnam” (Brian Michael Jenkins, n.d.). He examines the up and coming terrorist challenge, that without preventative measures, could result in the continued destruction of democracy.

“Ryan Mauro is a national security analyst at Clarion Project, an analyst for multiple news outlets, and a consultant to government agencies. Ryan is the Director of the Clarion Intelligence Network, a group that tracks extremist activity throughout the world, and regularly provides information to law enforcement and policymakers” (Ryan Mauro: Anarchy, ANTIFA, and Marxism in America, 2020). His topics of interest include Islamist networks in America and the Islamist plan for victory.

With the combined findings of all three individuals there is enough evidence to state that there is a radical Islamic presence in the United States. The supported evidence reveals:

  1. An organization known as SAAR, which is made up of businessmen, scientists, and scholars from the Middle east, has been identified with having ties to radical Islamic groups.
  2. Kindhearts, believed to provide emergency aid to Muslims in the form of medical, health care, training and education, and vocational services, instead is a front for terrorist financing with ties to Hamas.
  3. Jihad camps that function within the United States. “One example, Mauro notes, is the Jamad al Fruco group, which claims to have 22 training camps across the country” (22 Jihad Camps Inside the US? Here’s the Disturbing Islamic Prophecy Behind Them, 2018).

This is just a sample of their discoveries that should bring a certain amount of attention to what is actively taking place in America. But can this ideology be stopped? The individuals carrying out these acts answer to only one person, their god. With the continuing influx of orthodox Muslims and their beliefs to make the entire world yield to Islamic law, and their persistent efforts to dominate all other cultures, is America prepared to be tolerant of this belief system, or is America prepared to act? The battle is far from over because terrorist resources in financing and their strength in numbers is just too immense. It is difficult to determine what types of action should be presented with the continued efforts of certain party members and their affiliations. All religions should be accepted, but the ones that promote loss of life and violent actions should be dealt with aggressively and prosecuted.

“Muslims are the fastest-growing religious group in the world. The growth and regional migration of Muslims, combined with the ongoing impact of the Islamic State (also known as ISIS or ISIL) and other extremist groups that commit acts of violence in the name of Islam, have brought Muslims and the Islamic faith to the forefront of the political debate in many countries” (Lipka, 2017). With that being said, I think that the findings in the investigation were accurate. There is a threat to the United states from within. With the lax laws that we have been experiencing over the years on immigration, this has been allowed to take place. Cities protect those that are here illegally because they democratic governors protect them from being reported and deported. This is a huge threat to our national security. This is not to say that immigration is bad. This country was built on immigration but have a legal way of doing so for a reason. In order to get control of our immigration, the government needs to do a better job at monitoring who is coming into our country and press those cities that are illegally protecting illegal immigrants into this country. There is a reason that they are coming here illegally without going through the process of becoming a legal resident. Maybe because they have something to hide? “Several of the president-elect’s national-security appointees have argued that the United States is at war with “radical Islamic terrorism,” or “radical Islam,” or something broader still, such as “Islamism”” (Friedman, 2016). President Trump and his people knew that we had to get control on Islam and has continued to try and lay out a foundation for America to protect itself while being fought by the far left for his entire presidency. Islam is here, they are hiding, and they are secretly spreading. The more that we allow this to happen, it will soon be out of control and the takeover will be complete. We have to make sure that we are monitoring our immigration. Everyone has the opportunity to come to America legally and they are afforded the right to practice whatever religion or have any belief system that they want, but there has to be a line drawn between beliefs and hate for America. Terrorism is not tolerated whether you are a citizen or not.
