•Read “Rhetorical Velocity” by Ridolfo and DeVoss under the CONTENT Tab (note: it’s a web text, so be sure to use the menu at the bottom of the article to move on to each section).
•Focus on the sections called INTRO, REMIX, AMPLIFICATION, VELOCITY. You can ignore the others.
•Define the terms POSITIVE APPROPRIATION, NEUTRAL APPROPROATION, and NEGATIVE APPROPRIATION and give an example of each from your own life/studies/interests/career. Keep these short; no more than a couple of sentences each.
