Watch the video and answer

We know that the production of meat requires a great deal of energy and water but this video also suggests that eating local is an important aspect of having a sustainable diet. With both eating less meat and more local products, many people feel as though they have to take an all or nothing approach. For example, if I don’t want to have a vegan diet, I might as well not make any dietary changes at all. This is a false choice because even small changes in our food consumption can have significant impacts. Given what you have learned this quarter, what dietary changes could you make to promote a more sustainable lifestyle? Feel free to agree or disagree with the perspectives shared in the video for this week.
