Next, we will consider Maxwell’s text titled How Successful People Think. It is a small book which you should be able to read in a couple of sittings. Maxwell has spent the majority of his life in leadership, as well as studying leaders themselves, and has written extensively on the subject of leadership and leadership thought. After having started with the Word, we now move to a contemporary consideration of leadership thought.  

• Read the entire Maxwell textbook,
• Write a 1-2 page response answering the following questions:
  • Which of Maxwell’s concepts stand out to you and why?
  • What previous understanding of the thinking of successful people covered in the Maxwell text do you bring with you to this course, and how might Maxwell complement or contrast those?
  • Do you agree or disagree with Maxwell regarding what he has to say in his book and why?
  • How does the book compare or contrast with what you have considered about Paul and Nehemiah?
  • Feel free to elaborate on any other issues you wish.
