Using the outline below, analyze the Ultrasound case (attached). Your analysis should have SIX PARTS (clearly labeled/identified), following the first six items below.

Define the problem. What are the key issues or concerns in the case? What factors reduce the capacity of the organization to achieve its objectives? Do not confuse symptoms of problems with problems themselves.

Discuss any sub-problems or minor issues that may have a bearing on the situation.

What are the causes of the problem? Briefly analyze the causes.

Develop alternative solutions to address or remedy problem areas. Develop at least three different approaches to solving the problem(s). Analyze each option in terms of time, cost, reasonableness, likelihood of success, etc. Thoroughly evaluate the relative merits of each alternative.

Select a solution from the three options. The solution may be some combination of the three options. Justify your choices.

Develop a detailed plan of implementation. This is basically an action plan detailing who, what, how, where, and when various tasks should be undertaken to operationalize the solutions selected.

Use references / citations (not your textbook) to support your analysis.

The analysis should range between 5-7 typewritten, double-spaced pages.
