Background

In this report, you will give the details of your team’s recommendation to
Haldon management (i.e., which factory to buy). You will need to clearly
explain how your team reached this recommendation based on available data
in the handouts and your own research. Your entire team should agree on a
single recommendation, but each team member must write their own report
in their own words. When you write your report, remember your intended
audience (senior managers at Haldon) – think about what they already know,
what they will be able to understand, and what information they care about.
Some marks for your report will be awarded based on the quality of your
team’s recommendation, including creative and critical thinking that your
team has used to come up with your final recommendation. Your report
must also include a section on ethical considerations.

Deliverable

A report in PDF or Word format, explaining your team’s recommendation
and the reasoning behind it.
Include a section on the ethical issues you considered when reaching your
recommendation. In this section, discuss:
ˆ the ethical issues related to this recommendation,
ˆ how these ethical issues lead to arguments for and against investing in
each of the three countries (Australia, Canada, and Indonesia), and
ˆ how you have used these ethical arguments to justify your recommendation.

you would write. However, for this assignment, your report should not
be longer than 20 pages. Try to keep your report short and concise – if
you were writing this report for a real senior manager, you would not want
to waste their time with unnecessary details – but make sure you provide
enough information to clearly support your team’s recommendation. Your
report may include tables, figures, and charts/graphs, but make sure these
are not unnecessarily large or complicated.
