Requirement: You are required to read and reply to other students. (100 words) Saying “good job” and summarizing what a classmate has just posted does not meet the discussion board qualifications.Your replies should offer new substantiated ideas or thoughtful questions. While I encourage debate and disagreement, be courteous and respectful. Do speak your mind but remember that yours is only one opinion.

Adam Lovellette’ post: In this podcast Deb Zahn had on Laura Khalil and they spoke about courage. The beginning of the podcast began with the idea that courage was not only being able to take the leap, like we’ve heard in so many other podcast, but she expanded on this by saying that it’s a habit. It’s not something that you’re just born with, you have to practice. It’s a skill just like everything else and the more you use it the better you get with it. The next part of the podcast focused on imposter syndrome. This was my favorite section of the podcast since it was an idea I had never heard before but immediately resonated with. This is the habit of always thinking you’re not good enough and that if everyone else knew how bad you were behind the scenes, they wouldn’t react the same way. The examples given were a compliment and perfectionists. The last part of the podcast was when Khalil spoke on learning. It does you no good to be the best in the room because it gives you no one else to learn from. So always strive to find people who are more knowledgable that can offer you some form of education. Overall this was my favorite podcast, just because it offered so many new concepts that really stuck with me.
