We will hold a conference for students in the United States who are interested in learning more about the Amazon Student Program. A select 500 students will partake in a three-day conference in Washington D.C. at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. They will learn more about working at Amazon and the different services they offer like EC2 (Elastic Computing Cloud), SS3 (Simple Storage Service), and Solution Architect. They will also learn about certification programs that will help them with their careers in the IT, management, and government fields. We will be responsible for their lodging, transportation, meals, and activities, including a tour of headquarters. This project will have a duration of six months.

Approach

Requirements Gathering:

• The conference will have two entry points specifically for the Amazon Student program. In these two entry points the gathering point of the students will be directed here with security protocols taken into account, then coordinated to specific areas that the conference will provide (certifications, EC2, etc.).
• The conference will include: EC2 (Elastic Computing Cloud), SS3 (Simple Storage Service), Solution Architect, and certification programs geared towards IT, management, and government fields.
• Creation of registration forms using GoogleForms.
• Students will sign a waiver form and sign in with the hospitality coordinator.
• Activities coordinator will coordinate toward specific event areas.

Communication Plan:
