Pace University New York Vladimir Putin Essay
Most of us have a leader we admire and often try to emulate. This paper is your “My Favorite Leader” paper. Select a leader and do research on this person. What is their background? How did they become a leader? Who/What do they lead? Why do you admire this person? How are you similar? How are you different? The paper should be 3-4 pages in length and have a minimum of 6 sources. You should follow APA guidelines for style and format. (Please note: sources can be creative and varied. You can use the quiz websites, quotation websites, class lecture notes, interviews, song lyrics, etc.!! Six should be very easy to find!)

1 I do believe communication is one of the vital skills needed to be an effective leader. Communicating doesn’t;t mean interacting with one another on a daily basis, but it also factors in how well a message is understood by the other person. in other words, communication is very important because it is where the basis of understanding the purpose behind a certain process or lesson exists. When working towards a common goal, being on the same page as your colleagues are important to perform well and consistently. If there are differing opinions within colleagues then those matters should be brought up, discussed, and redefined to understand the main purpose.
2. The leader that I am choosing to research is Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister of New Zealand. I think she is a really interesting person as she has handled many crises in a very poised manner. From the shooting that occured a few years ago to the way she handled COVID, I think many people in NZ and around the world have a lot of respect for her. Part of that is because I think she is a lot more transparent than other politicians that allows her to gain the trust of more people. She really has never had any controversies or problems in politics or in her life because she genuinely cares about providing good leadership. I don’t think we really see much of that in politics anymore at all.
3. For my paper, I am choosing to write about Malala Yousafzai. She works hard not for a particular organization, but to inspire young women and girls all over the world. She is charasmatic and a wonderful speaker. At the young age of 24, she has already made a huge impact in the world with her activism. She is truly an inspiring person and a great motivation for girls all around the world.
