Listen to the 4^th quarter 2020 earnings call for a well-known public company (e.g., search on www.earningscast.com). Prepare a three to four page, double-spaced paper (not counting any title and reference pages) using Times New Roman 12 point font.

State the purpose and content of the paper in a one-sentence introduction.

There should be three principal speakers: (1) the investor relations or legal officer, (2) the Board Chairperson or CEO, and (3) the CFO. Enter a separate paper heading for each of the principal speakers’ names.

Under principal speaker (1) heading:

Briefly summarize the speaker’s overall message and indicate if and how the speaker provided an outline of the entire earnings call (i.e., “tell me what you are going to tell me”).

Under principal speakers (2) and (3) headings, provide the following:

• Brief summary of overall message
• A specific important message
• A critique of speaking effectiveness by commenting on each of the six bold points under “Using Your Voice as a Communications Tool” on textbook pages 331 and 332.

Prepare a brief concluding paragraph that summarizes the paper and indicates one thing that you learned.
