1.As technology continues to increase, it would only be beneficial to take advantage of this change and to become an informed user of information systems. One benefit for developing a deeper understanding of information systems would having the ability or opportunity play a key role in managing the information system in your company or organization. Being a key member, you will be able to advise on the types of applications would be best suited for your organization and input on what goes into these applications, thus improving their quality. Being an informed user will make you a trusted source, thus, your company could potentially will rely on you to accurately weigh the pros and cons of adopting new programs if their impact on the company will be minimal. In addition, having developed a deeper understand will allow you to follow newer technological developments at a much quicker pace rather than someone who knows very little about information systems. In conclusion, reasons for becoming an informed users are all beneficial to you as an individual, thus it is important to follow along closely as new ad existing technology will continue to exist.

That is very important in this new digital age because certian jobs now require you to know certain programs such as Microsoft Excel. IT gives users more opportunities because there are many well paying careers in IT. IT can even help you fix your own computer problems at home and save you money for not going to someone else to fix it. You can even help other people with their IT problems and recommending them software you are familiar with. IT can give you the opportunity for working for some of the best companies in the world as well.
