Directions for the Self-Reflection Report
You need to write an in-depth self-reflection about how your un-
derstanding has changed or has not changed as a result of the course
and how you expect to use the concepts, and skills that you learned in
this class in, for instance, your prospective employments, community
participation, adult life, etc.
More specifically, it is about you and your learning experience in the
course. You need to do the following:

(a) You will need to identify (i) the three or more most im-
portant concepts and (ii) the three most important skills you
learned in the course.

(b) You need to explain thoughtfully and in detail why you
consider those skills and concepts important.

(c) You need to explain how your three skills have evolved dur-
ing the semester; and
•
(d) You need to explain how you expect to use such concepts,
and skills in the future, in, for instance, your prospective em-
ployments, community participation, adult life, specific experi-
ences, other courses you plan to take, events, trends or research
you might conduct etc.

To receive credit it must meet the following criteria:
(1) it has clear purpose and thesis or main idea in the introductory
paragraph that explains how you plan to substantiate the thesis
in the main part of the letter.
(2) in the main part of the letter, the thesis is supported with ad-
equate reasons and evidence.
(3) it is organized clearly and coherently, and uses a variety of ex-
amples.
(4) it is 3-4 page(s)s double-spaced, 12 fonts, letter based on all the
work you completed for the course.
(5) submitted by the deadline on Canvas.
