Agile is all about embracing change, the second principle of the Agile Manifesto states “Welcome changing requirements, even late in development. Agile processes harness change for the customer’s competitive advantage”. This principle seems to imply there is a level of change management in Agile projects.  For this discussion, we will explore how changes may be “harnessed” in the Agile project context.

Discussion 4 – Enterprise Agility

Assignment:

While the original intent of the Agile manifesto’s principles was to focus on software development, it referenced software directly only a handful of times. If you replace  “software” with “product or service,” the principles become entirely software-agnostic. This generalization of focus from software to products and services has been a driving force in current agile thinking, which recognizes that agility must be achieved across the entire enterprise to create value.  For this discussion, we will discuss our perspective of enterprise agility and explore the benefits of achieving agility across the enterprise.
