  1. Taking the planning structure discussed in Chapter 3 in Business Writing Today:
    • Decide on the best content to discuss the problems, solutions, audience, and call to action needed for your proposal.
    • Consider how to organize the beginning and middle, to make it end with action from your audience.
    • For your discussion post, share some of your problems, solutions, or your call to action.
      • Show how you will organize them by adding your draft outline to your discussion post.
  2. Review strategic communications outlines from at least two of your peers. Provide feedback.
    • Don’t be afraid to challenge their assumptions, suggest new possibilities, and affirm their choices when those choices are good.

example of my peer ,

I will use the Standard Modern Businessperson (SMB) method to present and develop the best content to discuss the problems, solutions, audience, and call to action needed for my proposal. To do this, I will need to prepare a specific goal that will allow the ability to measure specific feedback with accountable solutions. Additionally, this method requires that my goals are attainable and realistic. This method will allow the content of my proposal to offer accountability that drives innovation.

A strong proposal should begin with a specific problem that provides clarity on my reason for writing, proceeded by a-well planned solution that entails a logical progression of facts and ideas

One of the major issues that I will be contended with from my leadership, senior leaders, and colleagues is the fear of change. A lot of individuals fear change, and will fight against adapting to a new process. Even if that process is far superior and will ease their workload they are reluctant to change. This has effected several companies including Nokia, Blockbuster and Kodak. All pioneers in their industry but felt to adapt when necessary to emerging technologies. According to Hussein Nokia has plenty of opportunities to stay ahead of emerging technologies such as the iPhone but failed to do so, (Hussein, 2). In order to prevent this from occurring to our organization we need to adapt and accept better processes into the Air Force
