Watch Bad Teacher on Netflix, and answer below questions

1) Use two content theories to explain Elizabeth Halsey’s motivation (both in terms of her job and other aspects of her life)?

2) What effect did the “bonus” have on Elizabeth’s behavior? Use expectancy theory AND goal theory to explain the bonus system.

2. I will attach meaning of Money Scale below,

For this discussion, I want you to think about your current job (if you are not currently employed, think about a prior job, or the job of a friend/family member). In one post, answer the following questions:

1) How does your employer evaluate your performance? In other words, which of the tools/techniques discussed in Chapter 8 does your employer use?

2) What motivates you the most, extrinsic rewards or intrinsic rewards? Do you think performance is enhanced when people are mostly motivated by extrinsic rewards or by intrinsic rewards (or doesn’t it matter)?

3) Take the “Meaning of Money Scale” by clicking here. What do your scores on this scale say about the psychology of money (for you)

Please do below discussion, I will attach group scale below.

For the first part of this post, I would like you to complete the following self-assessment: Group Scale – 1. After completing the scale, answer the following: What did you learn about yourself? Do you behave “well” in groups or “not so well”? Do you engage in more “task-oriented”, “relations-oriented” or “self-oriented” behaviors? What types of groups do you think you would thrive in?

For the second part of this post, I would like you to think about two different groups that you have been a part of. Think about one group (i.e., your “good” group) that performed well, and one group that had a lot of problems/issues (i.e., your “not so good” group). Use the following scale to evaluate both groups: Group Scale -2 (remember, you are completing the scale two times — once for your “good” group and once for your “not so good” group). After completing the scales, answer the following: How do the scores differ between the two groups? Are these differences in scores consistent with your own experience as a member of both groups? What were/are the consequences of having a dysfunctional group (like your “not so good” group)? What are some ways (based on Chapter 9), that you could improve the functioning of your “not so good” group?
