• Reflective Essay

Students are required to write a reflective essay regarding their perceptions, attitudes, and knowledge, and experiences of Infromations systems prior to the start of this class. The essay must be at least 2000 words (four pages), typed, double-spaced with 1-inch margins, and in 12 points, Times New Roman font. This essay should be a narrative written in the first person. This essay should include personal and educational experiences as well as information relevant to the career goals of the student.

The following questions will guide the writing but are not restrictive:

• Why are you taking this course (please answer more than “it’s required”)?
• What experiences (classes, people, books, jobs, etc.) directed this choice?
• What do you hope to learn from this course and why?
• How will this topic/class apply to the student’s personal or professional plans?
• Explain your current experiences with information systems.
