SMU Individual Reflective Document Discussion

 

Hi. The following information is the requirement of this reflection provided by the professor.

Topic: Evaluating and Acting on Opportunities

Students will write an individual reflective document of between 500 and 750 words. These reflective documents aim to bring the student to reflect on their own personal experience, and engagement in the classroom, from their interaction and involvement to their learning. Through these reflective exercises, students learn about themselves and how they interact and react to their environment.

Students are asked to reflect on:

1. When they felt most engaged during class time, and why?

2. What times they felt least engaged, and why?

3. Actions taken by someone in class (professor or student) that was most helpful, and why?

4. Things that surprised you, and why?

5. Things that you found puzzling or confusing, and why? At least 3 of the above reflection areas should be covered for each reflective document. It is recommended that students take notes at the end of each class on the above questions so as to facilitate the recall of relevant information for their reflection documents.
