You bring up a good point.  Sometimes partners can be mentors or advisors to help you personally improve your leadership skills and ability to better operate your business.  They may or may not be compensated.  I like that you have a partnership for brainstorming.  Is the brainstorming focused on something specific, or does it cover any business issue, or help you with new service ideas or ???? 

The development of a small resource group of business individuals who regularly meet to discuss each other’s business issues can be a fantastic tool and really help to elevate every group member’s business success.
