Nurses are often portrayed in films and television. From Nurse Ratched in One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, to Julia Baker in Julia, and Gaylord “Greg” Focker in Meet the Parents, nurses have been portrayed showing various traits. Some are positive, while others are less than caring. For each, the five elements of emotional intelligence, 1) self-awareness, 2) self-regulation, 3) motivation, 4) empathy, and 5) social skills, are expressed at different levels. Select a nurse archetype portrayed in films or on television and consider the following.
1-What features of emotional intelligence does your selected nurse portray? What features are they lacking? Provide an example to support your rationale.
2-If you were the nurse’s leader, how would use your change agent characteristics to support that individual’s growth? Provide specific examples using scenarios from the setting from which the nurse is portrayed.
3-How does complexity theory or chaos theory influence the organization in which the nurse is portrayed? Provide specific examples to support your rationale.

Further explanation about the assignment:
Persuasion is the process of creating, reinforcing, or changing others’ attitudes (their judgments), beliefs (their knowledge), and behavior/actions. While we use various methods of proof to try to persuade others, we rely on strong evidence and sound reasoning that resonate with our audience to develop effective persuasive speeches. Accordingly, you must do more than state your opinions and assertions. You will need to support those opinions and assertions with valid evidence. Don’t forget that that you need to state the sources of any evidence as part of your speech because the audience does not have your outline or works cited page. You also want to anticipate and respond to major counter-arguments against your position. Your credibility is also enhanced when the audience is aware that you use reliable, well-qualified sources and you fairly address and rebut counter-arguments.
Any persuasive speech should be well organized, but particularly so for this speech because your presentation time is limited. Review the various organizational patterns for persuasive speeches to ensure you select the most appropriate for your topic.
Finally, this assignment requires you to be more strategic in selecting and ordering your arguments and evidence in this speech because many in your audience are likely to be hostile to your proposition.
Purpose of this assignment: This assignment helps you continue to develop your critical thinking skills because you are taking a position that contradicts the perspectives of many in your audience. More importantly, this speech gives you an opportunity to practice persuasive speaking, which is essential in our professional, personal, and civic lives.
Multi-factor Authentication
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an authentication method in which a computer user is granted access only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence (or factors) to an authentication mechanism: knowledge (something the user and only the user knows), possession (something the user and only the user has), and inherence (something the user and only the user is).
Two-factor authentication (also known as 2FA) is a type, or subset, of multi-factor authentication. It is a method of confirming users’ claimed identities by using a combination of two different factors: 1) something they know, 2) something they have, or 3) something they are.
A good example of two-factor authentication is the withdrawing of money from an ATM; only the correct combination of a bank card (something the user possesses) and a PIN (something the user knows) allows the transaction to be carried out.
Two other examples are to supplement a user-controlled password with a one-time password (OTP) or code generated or received by an authenticator (e.g. a security token or smartphone) that only the user possesses.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) helps safeguard access to data and applications while maintaining simplicity for users. It provides additional security by requiring a second form of authentication and delivers strong authentication via a range of easy to use authentication methods. Users may or may not be challenged for MFA based on configuration decisions that an administrator makes.
