Data security has always been a big issue. We use security software to encrypt our data to keep unwanted threat actors from reading the data. Even if they break into our systems, files encrypted at rest are protected from being accessed. The threat actor would have to break the encryption to be able to read the file. You can encrypted individual files, like you will with AxCrypt, or you can perform entire drive encryption.

Purpose

Download the AxCrypt encryption tool as part of this project. Run the encryption tool to encrypt and re-encrypt files.
