Computer Security Research project Title, ‘Web War I, Estonia Attack: A web attack that shaped the country’

The cyberattack on Estonia took place in 2007, much before information warfare and fake news was prevalent. In order to capture this event to the best of my abilities, a thorough web search for articles, research papers, and news materials will be conducted. Once, the information is collected, I will begin my section by reviewing those materials, and connect this to the present context of how such events continue to influence and shape a country’s present. I will also include the role of instating the right cybersecurity tools to avert such events in the future and do a comparative analysis weighing the benefits of choosing the right cybersecurity systems.
